Re: You think a faction is overpowered? Come here!
Yeah it's risky, but using a poacher/thunderer combo, and 'zerking usually leads to a slightly injured 'zerk and a slightly dead enemy.
Though I only use this on a "Hard" target. Or a leader if he is outside the castle.

Re: You think a faction is overpowered? Come here!
Of course, I was addressing someone from the top of the page, I should have quoted him then, but I didn't think to. I know why you would/wouldn't use them offensively. Personally I weaken up an enemy unit with ranged attacks if they are on good terrain (Or bad, 19 gold is alot to spend), and then 'z...

Re: Restricted Terrain in the Map Editor
Personally I didn't realize that they were restricted until after I tried a map with them, then realized they made it broken. But who's fault is that? Me for not knowing better? (Which I did just from experience, not WML knowledge) Or the program being at fault? I just had to say something after rea...

Re: You think a faction is overpowered? Come here!
My only question is why wouldn't you use 'zerkers offensively? I've always thought of them as the guys you use to knock off units on good defensive terrain.
I was just wondering based on your previous comment, if you just didn't think of it then that's okay too.

Re: Art for Ascension
Most of the levels you have added are very well executed, especially the assasin line. These more recent two, the general and ranger, have too much going on. Take out a couple of details, or change the pose so you can see what's going on with them. Also, is the red on the ranger's sword blood or som...

Really? Weird, I always assumed that the Thrall had brown pants on... Hmm... Gonna have to replay it now.
Oh well, enough off topic.
Keep the great sprites coming!

I'm not understanding why an alliance of animals? And why did they wait until mankind had developed far enough to have iron weapons/military tactics?

Re: A-Red's sprite art (Sorrow, etc)
Myth is a great game, one of the all-time greatest RTSes ever made.
Probably contributes to why these sprites are awesome.
BTW, regarding the legs on the Heavy Thrall. Why isn't he wearing pants? Or something... I mean, if there is a reason why then it's fine, I've just been wondering why.

Re: Scenario fall-back starting points?
I have noticed that the RNG hates me when I play against AI, but it is indifferent against humans. In effect I tend to lost alot of the units I get levelled up because of bad luck. The rest come from oversight on my part. Now, I am not a big fan of replaying scenarios repeatedly, (I think its the se...

Re: Insane Hermit (Artwork Thread)
Not bad, but he seems too saturated to me, maybe tone down the blue a little bit. Also it is hijacking technically, but it's all good.(So long as it's for a good cause, and you don't hijack it for extended lengths of time or do it continuously.) Please Forum Sith (Or is that Siths? Sithes? Sithi?) c...

Re: Is Napoleonnoth Dead?
I have all the files for it in my decrepit old versions of wesnoth addons file, yes I back most of them up from 1.0 on or so. I will zip them and post them, but you would need to reprogram them all to get them working again. I should be able to zip them up and post them later today, after I get home...

Re: Insane Hermit (Artwork Thread)
That's the same thing I noticed about the nature one, the green fire doesn't really imply nature to me. It implies radioactive fire (If that's even possible), or maybe the Predator's blood...
I would recommend using vines instead of fire. Maybe I will work out a prototype when I get home from work.

Personally I am more of a fan of the one of the right.
I agree that the head should be tilted, but as is it is very well put together. I like it.

Re: My Artwork and Looking for Suggestions
His legs look too straight now, the shading and the shape of them need to be rounded.
Right now it looks like they are not in perspective anymore. Plus the knees shouldn't have identical (Or almost) highlights on them.
Incredibly good though, all things considered.
