add-ons server not connecting
i am getting a "remote host disconnected" error when i click the Connect button for add-ons.
playing 1.16.1
hostname add-ons.wesnoth.org (my system says that is at address 95.217.86.148 )
platform linux
compiled from source, no changes to config.

For mariadbpp, it's included as a submodule, so you need to make sure you pull that in as well. I downloaded the source tarball and the folder src/modules/mariadbpp is empty - is the tarball incomplete? Ah i see the submodule discussed in the Git areas. I tried the Easy setting and found the campaign fun and relatively relaxing to play. Thanks for maintaining!
Was only in trouble once when i sent the Ogre leader too far out and he kept getting mobbed by saurians

i've also tried it now on Steam on Devuan Linux and it works just fine

They all have names, generated by some algorithm that makes them suitable for their race/culture. Can you get a screencap showing her having noname?

Ah i see, i just installed Steam on my Linux box and am getting used to it. Wouldnt it be useful to get some idea how many are using the Steam layer?
