Re: Sir Kaylan
It would be nice if these units had some particular characteristics to them, like something showing thier personality, even if it's a small thing like palatte swap. It would indeed be nice if they did. It would be nice if all the units had idle animations and north animations and run animations and...

Re: Icons
I'd note that having them pop out over the frames is a bit off-style compared to the rest of the attack icons.

Re: Sir Kaylan
It's really, really not worth the time and effort to make unique sprites for every character in every campaign; I applaud the effort, but it could be much better spent elsewhere.

Re: Standing and idle animations?
This is certainly possible, but adding yet more categories of animations to fill out when we don't have enough animators working on the ones we have already is not a huge priority. If someone made them, they would probably be included, but if not, we're not asking for them, would be my outlook. Stan...

Re: Zombies (Merry Christmas!)
Back when I joined, the old units sprites/portraits were undergoing revision and there was a sticky thread of things to do for at the very top of this forum. We haven't had such a thing in recent years, and maybe now I'd be the person that should take care of it :( It's still there, we just never h...

Re: New poacher art?
Well, this was a long ago. So I am not sure the list is still alive or not. But maybe, it is nice to ask TSI before working completely, isn't it? (although I think TSI will let it go) ;) : http://forums.wesnoth.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=29045&p=413707&hilit=poacher#p413707 Not a problem a...

Re: New animations
I'd say that looks good to go, but I've not got commit access at the moment since the changeover to the new repository. Can someone with commit access have a go at it please?Major wrote:Just in case.

I don't see any particular problems with fixing these sorts of issues.

Re: Mudcrawlers
Looking nice. I'm glad someone else had time to take a look at these. If you can make something which could look like it forming out of a puddle, too, that would be awesome - I'm not sure the death anim reversed would work given the very cool part of the eyes staying in place then dropping a moment ...

Re: Starting on a portrait?
The main, key thing you need to do there is make sure all the facial features are level with one another. Currently the midline of her face is slightly crescent shaped, and the mouth is tilets ~15 degrees off the angle of her eyes.

My thought entirely - and I really like that in this sort of character.beetlenaut wrote:She's not beautiful now, but you can see that she probably was. Good trick pulling that off.

I think maybe the neck is a little long.Piko555 wrote:I have a strange feeling the head doesn't fit the body. I also think his left hand isn't placed in a correct angle. But anyway, this is great.

Re: Sleepwalker Animation Commissions WIP - Dwarves
The rest of it all looks fine to me (great, actually), but the cloak billowing just doesn't fit with the rest of the movement.
Keep hold of that, though, because it'll probably come in useful for the melee anims.
