Re: Giving a Try with portraits
Female Captain (Mari) Asheviere - 4 variations But I'm a bit lost in the website, where should I find info about the characters? Thanks, P. There's a campaign on the 1.18.x add-ons server called The South Guard- Revised Where Mari is located, Ashverie has a cameo, but i can't imagine all 4 portrait...

Re: Melbrin (Mal M'Brin)
So, right now it does look like he's got a pretty good gut going on. I get him having loose and baggy clothes, especially since he may not have a lot for the clothes to form around, but you may want to put a few holes in the fabric where you could showcase a ribcage, or leg bone. Also, is there no T...

Re: The South Guard (Revised)
To me there are 3 roles that can be/ and pretty much are filled in TSG. 1. The Boyscout (Deoran): New to command, the military life has been romanticized to him, and while he likely knows the names of many strategists of Wesnoth History, and even the names of some of their strategies. He's never see...

Re: Up the River Bork
Hello! I just played your campaign and i liked it a lot :) Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! I seem to have skipped some dialogues by accident so I didn't get archers nor trolls because I didn't know how  (I think my left click is double clicking) but i still managed to get to the end and enjoyed i...

Re: 1.17 Dunefolk (at least for now)
Does she have her eyes closed, with hawk-eyes painted on her eyelids? It looks good to me reading it as makeup, but it looks too intense a color for real eyes. She drinks the blood of Saurians XD. Kidding. I agree with this point though, and the thought of them being makeup-falcon eyes is cool (tho...

Re: Up the River Bork
I lost scenario 8 because Vitag died, by the way. [/spoiler] That's odd. You should be able to lose Vitag in S8. :hmm: I agree. Orcs are aggressive and the most aggressive gain power. I guess my point was, Tirzag is no better than the orc leader he replaced. In the end, what difference does it make...

Re: Up the River Bork
Are you suggesting that Tirzag, in the future, becomes a non-murderous leader of the orcs? Lol, not in Tirzag's future, because Tirzag dies on those fields lol. In the first scenario, Tirzag starts his leadership career by killing fellow orcs. In the final scenario, he's still at it -- killing orcs...

Re: Up the River Bork
Overall, an enjoyable campaign with plenty of clever features. Thank you so much for giving it a try! I'm glad you were able to enjoy it! I'm going to be looking into easy mode more and seeing where I need to adjust things! You've been very helpful with this! I actually don't mind that my orcs died...

Re: Up the River Bork
You know the movie Starship Troopers ? Remember the scene where the space marines first arrive on the bug planet and get swarmed? After playing scenario 4, I think I know what the space marines must've felt like. :) XD if you need someone to talk to about the trauma let me know lol. So you should b...

Re: Up the River Bork
Hello again! V0.3.8 is out! As always, changelog available below! A few small changes but also added a few decent changes to Easy mode! Just to make it a bit easier! (I'm considering lowering gold carryover for easy mode though cause it's probably toooo easy lol). General: Changed spelling for tree-...

Re: Up the River Bork
Oh my, lol. So the biggest problem I saw in your playthrough was that purple had free reign to grab villages wound up getting 40+ gold per turn XD.
I will be reducing his gold as well as some other things!

Re: Up the River Bork
I usually play campaigns on Easy mode. I have a hard time keeping my Level 2 units alive, and I don't take moves back, so I seldom make it far in Normal and Hard modes. I feel that, I usually play normal mode but with a decent bit of savescumming XD. I already know I'm not very good at the game hah...

Re: Up the River Bork
I played the campaign on easy-mode until I lost on scenario 4, "Battle in the Fog." Details of my defeat... In scenario 4, I had my army go up the right side of the map, thinking the human castle was accessible up there, but it wasn't. I discovered that I was on the wrong side of the rive...
