Re: An Opinion, Wesnoth is best played with Friends.
I know what you mean... It's much more enjoyable to find a wose called "Bumbumdabum" if you have a friend to laugh with you.

Re: Help with WML (I'm a begginer)!
Perhaps it's because you only have one side? map_data={@userdata/editor/maps/Misty Mountian} should perhaps be...? map_data={@userdata/editor/maps/Misty Mountain} That's all I have right now... if there are more files, they might be the cause of the error... Please also post what the error message s...

1.7.8/1.8beta freeze issues
I have had a problem with freezing when using Wesnoth 1.7.8. It does not trigger on any particular event as far as I can tell. It simply freezes and will not respond to any command. If not in fullscreen, one can force quit; if in fullscreen, one must restart. Here are my tech specs: 2006 black MacBo...

By the way, with the recon hoverbike, it flies backwards. I think this is because you drew it facing SW, and standing pics face SE.

Idle Anim Freeze
I have downloaded the Wesnoth 1.7.0, and, upon the first game I noticed that the gryphon masters I had, who were supposed to be flapping continuously (right?) stopped moving at a certain point. The Blood Bats for the Undead had the same problem; then, I realized that all the units with idle animatio...

Re: Macro using PICKUPPABLE_ITEM not working
Include it in the _main.cfg, you mean? as the string? or somewhere else?zookeeper wrote:If you include it after you include your scenario files, then yes.Suukorak wrote: Would having it in macros.cfg be considered "after" the scenario file?

Unexpected Quit
When I am playing Wesnoth (1.6.0), and I press command-Q (quit hotkey), it behaves as normally. If I press "yes, quit", it works; if I press "no, don't quit": it quits anyway, from the entire application. I use a Macbook, from '06, OSX 10.4.11. What is wrong? Is this covered in t...

Did you notice that the HP actually goes down from Xylash Grub to Hivelord? Is that intentional?

Re: Macro using PICKUPPABLE_ITEM not working
but then I used the macro, did nothing. When the pickuppable_item was outside the macro, in the scenario file itself, it worked; in the macro, no go.zookeeper wrote:Well, obviously defining a macro doesn't make anything happen by itself?
