Re: High-quality Wesnoth logo version
I've gotten larger versions from Sgt. Groovy, posted here in case anyone wants them. If anyone still wants an SVG version, you'll have to ask the Sgt. about it.

No, I do not have the original SVG file at this point. If I ever get anything, I'll be sure to post it here.

Re: High-quality Wesnoth logo version
Here's a somewhat cleaned-up version of the logo with a transparent background, if anyone's interested. Would be better to have the original, of course. But barring that...

Gah! I looked through that thread, but somehow missed that. That's plenty high quality for what I need. Thanks!

High-quality Wesnoth logo version
I've been trying to find a high-quality version of the wesnoth logo (shield and crossed swords). The best I can find, after looking through the forums and wikis for a while, is the version for localizing the game title, which comes in at 171x189px. Is there a higher-quality version available somewhe...

Re: DWLlama arts and stuff
Yes, the style now is to not feather the shadow at all.dirtywhitellama wrote:As far as the shadow: it is not feathered black, it is feathered in the exact shade suggested by that same wiki page, then set to 60%. But are they not supposed to be feathered at all then?

Re: DWLlama arts and stuff
Oooh. More animal sprites. Excellent. I'd like to use this in a campaign someday.
This isn't really "artistic" criticism, but in terms of conforming to Wesnoth sprite styles, you should have a look at this wiki page about sprite shadows. Basically, the style is no longer feathered black.

Re: ModularLua - making things easier in 1.9
ModularLua 0.5.1 Version 0.5.1 of ModularLua is up on the add-on server. I came back from a hiatus and discovered I was getting some pretty silly errors. These have been corrected, along with some enhancements and improved event documentation. The full changelog is: 0.5.1 ===== * events.register no...

Re: vultraz's lua questions
Try tostring(...):format(...) . Yeah, that's what I ended up doing. This was a while ago. Although I'm pretty sure you mean string.format(<format_string>, tostring(<userdata_string>), <normal_string>, ...) Even with syntax highlighting? Compare: string.format("%s.%s", namespace, key) name...

Re: vultraz's lua questions
I've had some issues with string formatting and userdata (like translated strings) in the past. I do generally prefer string.format, though, because it's easier to read.

Re: Wesnoth Lua Pack: Development Thread
@Elvish_Hunter: I agree with everything you said, which is why I don't think it makes sense for people to copy-paste. If it's a repository, you should use the version in the repository. If it's a group of tags, you should be able to use them without needing to copy-paste. That's easier for people wh...
