Re: Necromancers vs Liches
I'll use Necromancer when facing an army consists mainly of Mage. Namely the A Small Favor Part 2 scenario in DiD. When you have to fight a lot of Red Mages and White Mages to get through. I wasn't aware that DiD even gives you the choice to level up your dark sorcerers into liches. I certainly cou...

Eh, I don't think he is a spambot. But if he was then my reply will be pointless.

Re: Long live democracy
You've got yourself the title of Necromancer, sir. :lol2: On topic, I agree to your post, communism isn't evil like people might think. The problem with communism is that it require certain prerequisites (economy, society, people,..) and it's almost impossible to achieve in this time. Communism have...

Re: What games are you playing right now?
Have you tried Amnesia: The Dark Descent ?Gambit wrote:You're after (specifically) "survival horror". This genre is on the decline. We're getting a lot of FPS's+zombies lately in their place.
If you haven't, I recommend everyone give it a shot.

Re: cartoons allowed?
Flametrooper, Bob_the_Mighty and Syn_Err made some comics a while back in this wiki page. You may want to take a peek and get some inspirations.

I see. Thanks for solving this matter, Crendgrim.Crendgrim wrote:No, it seems to be a bug in the Wiki. The.cfg
file for Human Alliance uses (at least in current trunk) 18 / 20 / 22 as turn limits.

Ah shoot! I completely forgot about that
Then, it looks like you've just encounter a bug, maybe you should report it.

Re: Difficulty changed in middle of campaign
I suspect that the author of that wiki page has made a mistake about turn limit (I think Lotsofphil me is the one to blame :P ). He wrote: 14/16/18 (easy/medium/hard) While in fact the easier difficulty must have a higher turn limit. So you still playing the with the Novice difficulty. Edit: Forget ...

Re: Comments and questions
Why hide the unit progression? I'll just quote Sapient here, I strongly support this argument: The goal is to preserve (for the new player) the thrill of discovering something new and the anticipation that leads up to it. When I first play this game, I was very excited when a unit level into someth...

Re: Khalifate feedback thread
Yeah I guess I did misunderstand you a little. :-P I think it'll come down to decide which is better: to have a formula (or pattern) that will decide what AMLA cap for each unit levels or a fixed/standard cap at 150 likes you said. First choice: I think this is a fairer choice, depend on what level ...

Re: Khalifate feedback thread
Not that I really care or that it really matters since AMLAs are mostly insignificant (in mainline, that is, and save perhaps for healing), but I thought it was a convention that all AMLAs were at 150 exp. IIRC, Archmage is a lv4 and his ALMA is 150, not 200, and that unit is plenty powerful. In th...

Re: Which faction is easiest to master?
Well, shaman is not meant to be a offensive unit, she is a supporter, to heal allies and slow enemy. You use shaman to slow enemy, move other units in for the kill and cover shaman with them, then the shaman from behind will heal any wound they may have during the attack. IMO the slow ablility is ve...
