Re: Secure the North - Campaign Development

OK, apologies for the double post, but the next scenario has been completed, and uploaded to both servers (or you can download it below). Please (please, please, pretty please) post comments below, especially suggestions for improvement/balancing of both scenarios. Thanks, Vladcara. (as a side note,...

Re: Secure the North - Campaign Development

Heh - tell me about it. I saw that, and thought I'd changed it. Better go take another look!

EDIT: Ok, fixed now!

Secure the North - Campaign Development

 I HAVE RETURNED! And it's good to be back! I'm kicking off with a new campaign (one which I intend to actually FINISH this time). It's slightly unusual, in that recruitment of units is downplayed - you start with a large army, and receive regular story-oriented reinforcements, bu...

Re: Leid's Art Gallery

Quite good, but the attack anim and maybe the defence anim need more movement-at the moment only the arms move on the first one and nothing moves on the second (though because of the 'fade' effect, it might not need to)

Re: Mudcrawlers

Great sprites, as usual.

As to the issue of size, I think they look okay compared to other units-drakes and woses are as big as the lvl1. However, compared to the lvl0 the lvl1 looks huge. I think going with knocking a few pixels off the big one and adding a few to the small one would fix that.

Re: Vladcara's Graphics

Okay, update! Below is the new unit tree. The pharaoh line has undergone an overhaul, and I'm much happier with this version than the previous ones. The desert warrior line has been made slightly taller, along with a few other small changes, and I fixed up the Khepesh's sickle a bit I'm still not en...

Re: WIP Non-Wesnoth Story

How's about something like this? The usually peaceful village of Scarlia Crag was in turmoil. For some reason unknown to the villagers, a force of goblins of the Redleg tribe had come pouring into their idyllic valley just two days hence. The vicious creatures were camped half way down the valley, a...

Re: Wose Faction

As a way of incorporating both non-Wose units and making a 'fast' unit without detracting from the 'slow and purposeful' feel of the Woses, why not have some kind of bird unit - maybe a falcon, there are already sprites for such in the Kalifa faction of extended era. Just a thought. In any case, gre...

Re: Vladcara's Graphics

@ Midnight Carnival: Thanks. And if you want the mummy, go ahead and take it I am now presented with something of a quandary. I recoloured a couple of other mummies from another era, but now Midnight Carnival tells me he loves the old ones. Well, I'll post the new mummies anyway, and we'll see which...

Re: Vladcara's Graphics

Necroed Well, I ressurected this thread to discuss some graphics for my latest campaign in progress, The Shadow Council. Below are the preliminary sprites for a faction in the campaign-the A'Kar. They are all a mixture of frankies, edits and recolours (my spriting skills leaving a lot to be desired)...

Re: The Rise of Camdar SP Campaign

The error was, as usual, caused by a single missing speech mark. In a completely different file to the one the error message stated. And thus was your signature proven true.

Anyways, thanks for telling me, and the fixed version is available for download now
