Re: B.U.R.S. (Bizarre and Unusual Recruit Styles)
It's been a while, but I finally got to try spamming Thunderers against a human, just to see how it'd go. The replay's attatched.

Re: Difficulty settings.
One thing to mention, is that there is sometimes better AI code in the harder difficulties, so you might just be noticing a better strategy in general. Not all campaigns have modified AI though, but I thought I'd mention it.

Re: Your ageless favorite lv1 units and reassons.
Well, for 'fun' units I like the thunderer, mainly because it's so satisfying to watch the animation when they hit.

Re: Enlarged Story Line Text?
I found a Screen Magnifying tool that has a mac version, though I haven't tested it. (I'm on Windows)
Here's the download link. I can't vouch for it though, but I'm gonna test it in a sec, so I'll edit the post if it's trustworthy. (or not)
EDIT: the Windows version works fine, and isn't a virus

Re: Event "when leader dies"
I think this is what you want. (I might have made a mistake in the code, it's been a while  ) [event] name=die [filter] id=BadGuy [/filter] [gold] amount=100 side=Badguyside2, Badguyside3, Badguyside4 [/gold] [/event] Replace the id in the 'die' event with the leader's id, and replace the side...

Re: Sleepwalker's randomness, current - IftU Demon portraits
Yeah, of course it'd probably work fine as it is, considering most people probably couldn't tell the difference... The Jump Spinning Whip kick looks flashy, yet is also usable IRL. Or, if you want to be really fancy, you could go for a JSWK followed by a sidekick midair. Those are fun too... (though...

Re: Sleepwalker's randomness, current - IftU Demon portraits
Firstly, the animations look awesome! :D However, the kick is kinda unrealistic. If you want to keep the similar style, look up a 'Jump Spinning Whip Kick'. For a kick of that style, there isn't near enough torque in what you put in. (please don't take this as a slight upon your animating skills, it...

I just watched the movie "Here Comes the Boom". I quite enjoyed it. Surprisingly, all of the MMA moves in it were real, which is more than I can say for some movies...

Re: About drakes.
And as for the Saurians, it might have something to do with them being cold-blooded. Nope, that's not it. Cold-blooded animals cannot survive the extreme cold, as pers the extract: Not so much uncomfortable, as they tend to become nonfunctional and those who can hibernate will go into a dormant sta...

Re: About drakes.
AFAIK, the Drakes have a magical inner fire that lets them live in the coldest of climates without freezing or getting cold. And as for the Saurians, it might have something to do with them being cold-blooded. (and of course, there's always balance)

When spam meets spam...
Into-Jesus and I played a match that was quite interesting. We both chose 'random' for our faction, and we agreed to spam one unit only.
See, I can do these against a human!

Re: Cordinates
Wesnoth should look like this:
As you can see, one hex is surrounded by gold, because the cursor was there. The part I circled in red is the coordinates for that hex. To change which hex's coordinates it displays just move your mouse.
