I started the challenge on 1.16 but by the time I got to chapter 10 I was already on 1.18
However, I haven't updated LotI in a while (ever since res penetration was restricted to a single unit).
Chapter 10 demons were not difficult to me but maybe it's just luck.

Very impressive. How was chapter 10? Up until Corrupted Town I faced no issues, but I am facing a roadblock right now. I find scythemasters to be weak and never advance them myself. The exception is that you get one for free in gladiators, and he always slows down the team and acts as a liabality. Conviction and frail tide mess up the supposed 80% limit of abilities like adamant.
In the following save file, check the current resistances of the dwarvish protector. Move him next to the boss and see the difference.

LotI2-Eruption-Auto-Save7.gz For some reason, triggering the necromancy ability by dying to lava (in Eruption) deletes the spawned lich. Neither the killed prophet nor the lich appear in the statistics menu. In the attached save, move the prophet just next to lava and end turn to replicate the bug....

Bug: I disabled axe for retaliation on Lethalia in part 6 while she was still a lich. After she turned into a Demi-god her axe was still disabled and the option to re-enable it disappeared.

Playing on the latest (beta) version.

They do attack enemies. I still think they shouldn't attack traders though.
