Re: How to make leadership apply only to mages
EDIT: so the [filter_student] filter does not work. Either this is a bug or I am just using it wrong. It works fine when using the standard [filter] tag. Weird. I have this macro that works: #define ABILITY_PEASANT_LEADER [leadership] id=peasant_leader value="(25 * level)" cumulative=no n...

Re: How to make leadership apply only to mages
[filter_weapon] is not recognized tag of https://wiki.wesnoth.org/StandardUnitFilter. Perhaps you mean [has_attack]. Well-spotted. But changing it to [has_attack] does not fix the problem unfortunately. I noticed that in Wesnoth's code, the leadership macro uses [affect_adjacent] so I tried that. W...

How to make leadership apply only to mages
Hi everyone, I am trying to make an leadership ability where the damage bonus only applies to adjacent mages of a lower level. However, it doesn’t work; no unit gets a damage bonus, regardless of whether that unit is a mage or not. Would anyone be able to help? #define ABILITY_MAGICAL_LEADERSHIP [le...

macro/file ABILITY_GREATER_HEAL is missing
EDIT: I found the solution to this problem in case anyone is looking for it. In the _main.cfg file, you have to load the macros defining abilities before you use them in your unit type definition. Hi everyone, I am trying to create a L3 advancement to the Saurian Soothsayer called the Saurian Sage, ...

Re: Scenario Review: THoT 9 - Forbidden Forest
Screw this. This scenario was already one of the hardest in the campaign, if not the hardest, and changing the campaign so that it arrives earlier makes it even more difficult. With no mages, there are no healers aside from Angarthing’s paltry +4 (if he’s even L3). And what happened to Troll Bridge,...

Re: Secrets of the Ancients (Undead Campaign)
This is the only undead campaign I genuinely enjoyed; it’s really good. Descent Into Darkness was terrible in comparison—too difficult to keep your units alive and very biased towards ghost-type enemies. In this campaign, every unit (except for ghouls) had to be used: ghost type enemies against trol...

Re: A Fiery Birth-Drake Campaign (9 Scenarios) Now on 1.16
Great campaign, short and sweet. I was tired of campaigns that had 20+ scenarios. I still want to know how the dragon eggs contained drakes though, instead of dragon babies. The influence of the Saurians? An accident by the mages who were attacking the dragon?
