Re: Duncan's Sprite Gallery

I said the same on Discord, they look more like an Arcane Rogue than a Rogue Mage, which is not the same meaning of the word rogue.

Re: Melbrin (Mal M'Brin)

An elven skeleton wouldn't look much different from a human skeleton, maybe just as much as a Neanderthal, certainly less than a gorilla. However, Mal M'Brin is a fresh lich; he wouldn't have reached that stage yet. So having a portrait and sprite with a nose and ears would actually suit him better....

Re: Melbrin (Mal M'Brin)

Haha! You seem to have missed out a rather iconic elf feature, the ears! If I understand right this is more like a mummy than a skeleton, so it might make sense for him to have one broken ear? Well, the problem is this portrait wasn't intended for him, just some available art used as a placeholder....

Re: Are humans overfeatured?

Hmm, instead of stretching the definition of necromancy one could say necromancy is the norm here, but even then our holy paladin is starting to turn into an arch lich.

Re: Zombies

Not at all. Corpses tend to be a bit paler because they lose the red tint from blood, but not their actual coloring. Take natural leather for example, it keeps the color even after processing.

"We" aren't employees, people do what they feel like doing. This is closer to fan art than an attempt at contributing to the game.

In most places yes, but Wesnoth forums are ancient and slow. Some threats span over decades and there are many where the posts are ages apart.

Though 7 years is an impressive stretch even here.

Re: Giving a Try with portraits

Yeah, the second drawing looks pretty good, though it could be closer to the sprites.

Re: Improved Konrad and "Clothed" Li´sar

Come on ugly is one of the last words I'd use. Sure they could benefit from some anatomy lessons (especially Li'sar) but I think Konrad is pretty decent.

This version of Li'sar is much better than the last, but Bimbo Barbie will never be a good look.

Ok, the Li'sar one is a joke at best, but this is quite good.
