Re: Best and Worst MAINLINE campaigns and scenarios
Too long? You must refer to the length of the single scenarios, because the number of scenarios is quite low.Flameslash wrote: I don't like Northern Rebirth, because it's just too long and the first level is far too difficult.

Does Mary Shellie's Frankenstein, Treasure Island, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde, The Picture of Dorian Gray count for that? Still got Bram Stocker' Dracula, Around the World in 80 days on the todo list...Crow_T wrote:Anybody read the classics?

Re: Campaign challenges
Yeah, reconsidering it seems pretty hard, and leveling a unit to level 2 is too easy. I was just trying to think of something new. What if, in a kind of speed run, you put a timer on all of your turns? Did you try what Jozrael suggested, cause that's pretty similar. So basically playing as fast as ...

Re: Stuck on NR: Infested Caves
Points acknowledged, of course you need to adjust playstyle for this kinda challenge. By the way, I don't like the scenarios after this one which are very easy after having passed this one so well. I think I could even have killed the orcish king the first time I met him maybe... (I stopped playing ...

Dude, seriously, take a break. You want too much in too little time, and although your intentions might be noble, your statements come across awfully rude in some aspects. Relax a little and don't get eaten up in this "me against the almighty devs" kinda thing.

I was thinking mainly of first scenarios were you usually start with very limited resources.alluton wrote:He didn't state whether it is leveled form level 0,1 or 2. So infact it can be rather easy. (Tought not on talk only scenarios.)

For what campaign? Seems impossible for many.Elvish_Conquerer wrote:How about this:

Well I didn't say that, but I should have...pauxlo wrote: As HomerJ said, the idea is to play some scenarios again, using only your now better knowledge and capabilities, trying to optimize the leveling-up compared to your earlier play.

Re: Replaying campaign scenarios for levelling-up units?
I seem to recall some thread here on the forum mentioning the possibility of replaying scenarios within a campaign (i.e. actually playing them, not watching the replay of what you've done) - gradually amassing more experience so that eventually you get to recall high-level units. However, I haven't...

Re: Beta version has better graphic?
Also, what do you mean with graphics, and what version are you currently playing?
The last two version before the recent 1.10 branch were 1.8 (stable) and 1.9 (development), I believe you might refer to the difference between those two.

Re: Stuck on NR: Infested Caves
Watched 14 turns so far and gotta say that you appear to be very lucky. You exposed Tallin to a troll and a rocklober very early in the main chamber, later, Tallin was two hexes away from a pack of 4 trolls/lobbers and had 3 hexes to be attacked from. Yet, the trolls never even tried to kill you. Wi...

Re: Unable to install in Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
Did you check the filesize of the installer? Maybe it is corrupted, but that would mean, both of them that you tried would be broken and that's not very likely if you are on a stable net-connection.
