What would people think about removing the end turn option from the menu and adding a button in the lower right corner of the screen? I suggest this as a means to stop people (me and my roommate) from ending the turn by mistake.
i think there should be some more publicity for wesnoth. i started to play it, and i think its a good game. so, first thing would be to remove the alpha status on freshmeat. the campaign is playable, and i would not consider it alpha.
since z and y are interchanged on the german keyboard and possibly other keyboard layouts, maybe there could be a more neutral key assignement, for example + and - on the numpad?
Is there any way to create new multiplayer scenarios using an editor? The only editor that I can find for mac crashes whenever I start using it. It begins bouncing on the Dock, then disappears.
In the current CVS there are two directories, editor and mapeditor.
In editor there is something that does not compile:

Is there any way to incorporate alliances into multiplayer? (shared win conditions, no ZOC(zone of control) blocking for allied units, allow to give allies gold???)

Why do the save file contain a lot of information for replay?
I think the save file should be only a description of the current status, or you could keep the replay in another file?
I have just committed some changes to CVS (after 0.5) which will hopefully make the game go faster on slower machines.
It should increase speed of units moving, attacking, etc. It will not improve scrolling speed, but that can be alleviated by using the 'scroll speed' slider in preferences.
