Erm? Is this even a real suggestion? Appealing to the army of 5 years old who are just
dying to play the game? Hmmm .......
I also find the structure of the above content a bit hard to follow when reading this. The ideas
seem to jump wildly all over the place; new sentences seem to be split up on disparate
new lines. I mean, my writing style may also be awkward, since I tend to break before
reaching ~80 characters per line. I got so used to this that I often dislike automatic
non-overflow (including on reddit, by the way).
Anyway, to the topic: I am not at all against ideas to show "completed" status, though. Perhaps
there is a way for wesnoth devs to indicate progress in a "yearly report" come xmas day.
(I am not suggesting long blog entries necessarily, mind you, although that would
be nice to have as well; but perhaps something like an extended and documented
changelog entry of more important things that were implemented in the year
aka a 12-months changelog summary. People could then see what is new, when they
were gone for, say, six months. When I am gone from Wesnoth for a few months, I
often forget what happened, say, five months ago. The curse of getting older ...)
