Re: Wesnoth 1.18.0 — Draconic Invasions Update
Hello, I noticed since this update, the add-ons manager reverted to its previous behavior of redownloading the whole add-ons when updating an add-on. I remember in the previous version it only updated specific parts of the add-on, thereby reducing the download time. I realize that majority Wesnoth add-ons is only about couple of megabits, so it may be not that different, but with horrible internet like in my country, the difference is quite noticeable.

Can you open an issue on github with more specific information of what happened?

I was checking out the new units that came with this update and something caught my attention... are Lvl 2 Saurian Spearthrowers NOT supposed to be a advancement option for Lvl 1 Saurian Skirmishers?

It's something that needs to be enabled manually with the macro ENABLE_SAURIAN_SPEARTHROWER, it's not available by default.

Aye that's the one! I ought to have had it memorized with how often I used to see it. : ) Like I wrote it's basically an annoyance for log checkers, far as I can tell it doesn't affect the appearance of the sprite.Pentarctagon wrote: ↑March 31st, 2024, 12:38 am Was it thelibpng warning: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile

My anti-virus or something said Sourceforge contains harmful programs. Is it safe to download Wesnoth there, Pentarctagon?
There are very much electrochemical currents in my brain.

It's just because the executable isn't signed. It's fine to download.
