juast made orc archer and lich death animations.
below is the seperate frames in a compressed file and the animations, the lich isn't too good, so I prefer the orc archer, but comments welcome.
EDIT: have removed anims to save space

Ok, the orc archer melee attack,I don't think this one is all that good....but I need to sleep now.
ps, yes it does look like it is waveing when in a looping animation, but It doesn't when It only plays once.

You do realise that there are two different horses used in this animation...ILikeProgramming wrote:Here's something I made long ago. I'm just posting it here in case it's any good.
I also like the Orcish Archer animations, but the Lich I believe plays too slowly right now. Perhaps fewer frames with the purple coming out and more frames of him crumbling.
It doesn't really matter, we can use as much as you want (the more the better, except probably if you make hundreds of frames ), we can still adjust the timings if there are more frames.Ranger M wrote:BTW how many frames should we do for a defencive animation?
Your nice animations have more frames than most unit animations, good work !
They look good, but in the lich death frame, the staff should fall to the ground, and the feet dissapear as well. The orcish archer looks a bit flat(probably just an effect of the speed), and it might look better if you close the eyes, but none of the other death animations use it, and I havent noticed, so it probably doesn't matter at all. The melee looks great.Ranger M wrote:juast made orc archer and lich death animations.
Even as the fingers of the two hands are equal, so are human beings equal to one another. No one has any right, nor any preference to claim over another. You are brothers. - Muhammed

well, I've worked on some of the frames for the lich death.
the feet now dissapear (them not doing so was a mistake).
the skull remains instead of dissapearing.
the staff falls and crushes the skull.
