Folded paper textures available
I've scanned a set of 11 folded-paper images; I'll be using them in Wercator as a multiply layer to give the impression the underlying "parchment" is folded. I thought they might be of use to other folks, so here they are:
EDIT: The URLs have changed. I had forgotten about this post when I moved them -- sorry! I've also added links to six folded and wrinkled textures.
folded_100dpi.tgz: 100 dpi scans, 7M
folded_300dpi.tgz: 300 dpi scans, 65M
folded_and_wrinkled_100dpi_png.tgz: 100 dpi scans, 3.4M
folded_and_wrinkled_300dpi_png.tgz: 300 dpi scans, 29M
They're all greyscale, and are scans of a number of sheets of smooth white copier paper I folded up and kept in my back pocket for a week or two, so pretty much the only texture is wrinkling and dye transfer. About half of the scans have two sections that are much darker; they were on the outside of the folded wad, and absorbed some of the dye from my jeans.
