Dunefolk Rework - Table Of Content / Change-Log
Hello and welcome,
We have finally concluded our thoughts for a complete rework of the current Dunefolk (former Khalifate) faction. We did not only address the balance problems, but we also improved the visual appearance of the faction by updating many sprites.
It took us almost 6 months to finish this, the main reason for this is that it took us a really long time to consider all the various, often conflicting, ideas and agree on the most sensible solution, all factors taken into consideration. We apologise for taking so long.
There may be some further changes to this proposed version of Dunefolk, but they are likely to be minor. We will continue to adjust it if needed and for that we are going to need your feedback!
Don’t be shy to comment on anything you think could improve Dunefolk.
Special thanks to everyone contributing to this project (especially The_Gnat and Lordlewis, who helped where ever they could) and thanks for the Wesnoth-Team and community for being patient with us.

About Era
You can download the era either from here, or on the add-ons server with the title “Dunefolk Balanced“ by ghype, Hejnewar. That is also how you can get all the individual sprites at once. The changelogs are in the units’ descriptions, the only exception are the newly added units. If there will be updates, then the changelogs will be updated as well. Also, any changes to the era will be listed in this thread.
About Threads
As listed below in the Table of Content we will be presenting our changes in 5 seperate topics and 2 threads for the art. We couldn’t do it all in one thread because there is so much content and we don’t want to be discussing multiple unrelated topics on top of each other.

Congratulations! You created a Mod add-on, not Era? Is it possible to create a balanced Dunefolk Era, thus the reworked units will be displayed at the units database website. What do you think about that?

There are several addons with "Dunefolk" in their name. The right one is called "Dunefolk Balanced" by ghype and Hejnewar. Sergey might have mistaken one of the other addons for that one.

Sorry for misunderstanding. You said "mod" several times. "era" and "modification" are different types of Wesnoth add-ons. I wanted to make sure that your add-on is actually an "era", not "modification".

Now i get your point. I used "mod" 3 times and i replaced it with era accordingly
